Dementia—Diagnosis and Resources for Care

Dementia, in general, refers to a loss of cognitive and behavioral function in an adult that is severe enough to interfere with daily activities. Alzheimer’s is the most common type of dementia, accounting for 60 to 80 percent of the cases diagnosed. A primary care physician from Temple Health-Chestnut Hill Hospital will help you understand different types of dementia, how they’re diagnosed, and provide links to valuable resources for support.
