Fibroids
As many as 50 percent of women develop uterine fibroids at some point in their lives. Because fibroids may not produce symptoms, however, many women are unaware that they have them. Women in their 30s and 40s have the highest risk of developing fibroids and African American, Hispanic, and Asian women also have an increased risk. Join Temple Health-Chestnut Hill Hospital gynecologist Lynda Thomas-Mabine, MD, for a discussion about how fibroids are diagnosed and how they can be managed with medical and surgical options depending on your circumstances.
WHEN: Thursday, April 6 | Noon to 1 p.m.
